Tayto is one of the prominent chip (or crisp) brands across the pond. Based in Northern Ireland, Tayto serves Ireland's taste for chips. The brand was founded originally in a centuries-old castle. Tayto also offers that they were among the first brands to offer flavored potato chips (in the mid 1960s). Their mascot, Mr. Tayto, is reminiscent of another anthropomorphic food icon in the United States. Tayto offers a factory tour and an online store.
