Saratoga Chips are a New York-based chip manufacturer with a distinct claim to potato chip history.

Story goes that potato chips were invented in Saratoga New York. George Crum, a chef at Moon's lake house restaurant, invented the "Saratoga chip" accidentally, in a means to pacify a customer who wanted crispier potatoes.

According to the brand's website, the Saratoga chip was resurrected by them in 2009, after over 70 years of non-use.

Saratoga Chips offer a kettle-style chip with no preservatives. There is no online store through their website.
